Vice President Mr.
Cavanaugh joined the Firm in 2006 as an Associate and was promoted
to Vice President in 2007. Mr. Cavanaugh has worked extensively
with several KRG portfolio companies including ATI Physical Therapy,
Varel International and Avizent and has assisted these companies
in completing over a dozen transactions since joining KRG. Prior
to joining KRG, Mr. Cavanaugh was an analyst at Svoboda Capital
where he focused on middle-market leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations
in the distribution, business services and consumer products
industries. Prior to working for Svoboda Capital, Mr. Cavanaugh
was an Investment Banking Analyst with Merrill Lynch in Chicago
and London where he worked on public debt and equity offerings,
private capital transactions and merger and acquisition assignments.
Prior to his employment with Merrill Lynch, Mr. Cavanaugh was
a consultant in Arthur Anderson's healthcare division. Mr. Cavanaugh
graduated Magna Cum Laude from DePaul University in 1999 with
a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Accounting and received his
MBA from Duke University in 2006.
