DirectorMr. Nark joined the Firm in 2007 as a Managing Director. From 2002 - 2006, Mr. Nark was the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of White Cap Construction Supply, Inc., a former KRG portfolio company which was sold to Home Depot in 2004. Prior to White Cap, Mr. Nark was CEO and Chairman of Corporate Express Australia from 1998-2002. During his tenure, the Company's market capitalization increased from under $100 million to over $1 billion and it was one of the best performing stocks on the Australian Stock Exchange. Before working in Australia, Mr. Nark was Group President and a key member of the management team that developed Corporate Express over a period of six years from a regional distributor of office products to a publicly traded company with a multi-billion dollar market capitalization. Over the last 15 years, Mr. Nark has been involved in identifying, negotiating and integrating over 75 acquisitions while participating in three successful industry consolidations.
Mr. Nark serves as director of KRG portfolio companies Tecta America, Fort Dearborn, PetroChoice, UniversalPegasus and AllPoints. Mr. Nark also serves on the board of directors of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Orange County and formerly served on the boards of FTD, Gaiam, Leslie's Pools and Real Goods. Mr. Nark holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Washington State University.
