Chief
Operating Officer & Director. Ms. Shelton joined the Firm as Chief
Financial Officer in 1999, and was promoted to Director in 2006 and Chief
Operating Officer in 2007. Ms. Shelton has direct responsibility over investor
relations, human resources and recruiting, information technology, and
other administrative aspects of the Firm, and has secondary oversight over
accounting and tax matters. From 1994 to 1999, Ms. Shelton was with Rock
Bottom Restaurants, Inc., a multi-state restaurant company that completed
an initial public offering in 1994, a secondary offering in January 1995,
and a going-private transaction in August 1999. Ms. Shelton served in various
financial roles of increasing responsibility with the company, the most
recent of which was Vice President of Finance. Ms. Shelton was with a nationally
recognized public accounting firm from 1985 to 1994, providing accounting
and business advisory services to a number of publicly and privately held
companies. Ms. Shelton holds a BS in Accounting from Colorado State University
and is a member of the Private Equity CFO Association and the Colorado
Society of Certified Public Accountants.
