Principal.
Mr. Barkin joined the Firm in 2006. Mr. Barkin primarily focuses on the healthcare, distribution and business services sectors and currently serves on the board of directors of Fort Dearborn Company and Vention Medical. He was previously a director of PetroChoice and a regular board observer of Liberty Dialysis before the sale of each company in 2012. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Barkin was an Associate at Bain Capital, a Boston-based private equity firm, and an Associate Consultant in the Private Equity Group of Bain & Company, a strategy consulting firm in Boston. Mr. Barkin received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated with honors from Williams College with a BA in economics. He currently serves as a Trustee and Treasurer for West Denver Preparatory Charter School and completed the Leadership Denver program in 2012.
