Director.
Mr. Coughlon joined the Firm in 2000 as an Associate, and was promoted
to Vice President in 2005, Principal in 2006 and Director in 2007.
Mr. Coughlon has over nine years experience in private equity and
leveraged finance. During his tenure with KRG, Mr. Coughlon has primarily
focused on transactions in the healthcare, infrastructure products & services
and energy segments. Mr. Coughlon’s principal investing experience
includes participating in completing six KRG platform investments,
17 add-on acquisitions to those platforms and three recapitalizations.
Prior to joining KRG in 2000, Mr. Coughlon served as an Analyst at
Banc of America Securities LLC from 1998 to 2000 in the High Yield
Bond Group and the Financial Sponsor Group. Mr. Coughlon serves as
a director of KRG portfolio companies, Varel, East Coast, and Risk
Management Solutions, and was an officer and regular board observer
of CCS Medical, Tensar, and Trinity. Mr. Coughlon earned a BS in
Accounting and International Business with a minor in Spanish from Marquette
University.
