a Managing Director of KRG Capital and joined the Firm in 2000
as an Associate. Mr. Coughlon has over 11 years experience in private equity
and leveraged finance and is a member of the KRG Investment Committee.
During his tenure with KRG, Mr. Coughlon has primarily focused
on transactions in the healthcare, infrastructure products & services and energy
segments. Mr. Coughlon's principal investing experience includes
working on eight KRG consolidations including over 30 acquisitions and
three recapitalizations. Prior to joining KRG in 2000, Mr. Coughlon served
as an Analyst at Banc of America Securities LLC from 1998 to 2000 in
the High Yield Bond Group and the Financial Sponsor Group. Mr. Coughlon
serves as a director of KRG portfolio companies Fire & Life Safety
America, Avizent and Universal Pegasus, was a director of Varel
prior to its sale in 2007 and was an officer and regular board observer
of CCS Medical and Trinity. Mr. Coughlon earned a BS in Accounting and
International Business with a minor in Spanish from Marquette University.
